if you haven't looked just as an update all bracket play games start at 10am tomorrow after the last pool play games that were rained out yesterday are played at 8am. Teams will need to be prepared to play at 10am for their bracket game. You can check the team standings and look at brackets to get an idea but as you know anything can happen.

skills competition check in will open today at 5pm on field 6 ( soccer field right behind fields 1-5) golden arm and 40 yd dash will take place there for ALL age groups until we finish and yes we will wait for players who have games tonight. Home run derby for 8-12u will be on fields 2&3 and will start once the 445pm games are done. 13u home run derby will begin right after the 630pm game on fields 9 Players who have already previously checked in you are good to go with or without a band. We have you in our system. Players who have not checked in please check in at the tents right between fields 3&4 where it enters into the soccer fields. Players who have already participated we still have your scores and all is good. You will not compete tonight. All players will report to the skill director when they are ready to compete. Please be ready as we will be moving as quick as we can. Winners can get their new bats tonight or tomorrow before the Easton rep leaves. Bling chains will be awarded by USSSA Staff. GOOD LUCK!!

Day 1 is in the books, or almost. Most of you are getting ready to make the journey over to the Wahoos , and you wont be disappointed in the experience for the players walking on that field with all the fans screaming. Just a couple updates. Skills comp will be rescheduled for tomorrow evening at Preston Hood (FWB) 6pm start with golden arm, and 40yd dash for ALL age groups.   Home run derby for 8-12u will also run tomorrow with a 7pm  start    Check in will open at 530pm for those who have not checked in yet. If you already checked in please bring your band. Home run derby for the 13u division will also run tomorrow with a start at 8pm. we will give everyone more details tomorrow on where we will have the check in set up. If you already competed you do not need to show back up.  if we have ties we will communicate that and arrange a tie breaker. Games that were cancelled today are getting rebooked as we speak, and there will be some adjustments to he overall schedule.  most importantly is we will not finish pool play till Thursday morning and will start pool play right after that.  Right now that looks like around 10amstart, so not horrible. It's been a challenging 2 days with rain, but we think the worst is past us.  or we hope at least. Stay dry, cool, enjoy the Wahoos, and we will see everyone tomorrow Coaches reach out if you have questions.

Good evening Everyone What a day. Shout out to everyone who waited in the rain, and stayed positive. WE LOVE YOU!! First , we will for sure figure out how everyone still competes in the skills comp, and gets their chance. We are working on that as we speak, but premature to plan based on tomorrows pending weather. We will keep you in the loop. Rain or shine tomorrow we are NOT going to push games to later in the day , and you will have plenty of time to get to the Wahoos PARTY!! As of now ALL games are on time for tomorrow Do us a favor and check your schedule and make sure you are all set. Weekly passes can no longer be purchased , however you still can buy a daily band to get in which will be $20. If you did get a weekly pass, and you want to be able and skip the line you MUST have the band on. we know for the most part EVERYONE was great and understands that it must be worn, but just to be clear if the band isnt worn it isnt valid, and staff will refuse you entry to the park. If you lose the band, we are sorry you will need to purchase another band. To eliminate this please put them on now, since we know at 5-6 am no one is thinking about the band in their pocket from yesterdays rain storm. If you are going to Navarre tomorrow. there will be 2 entrances into the park.  the main entrance off High School blvd, and the entrance at the corner of Pawnee rd, and east river dr. If you are going to Preston Hood (FWB) there is two entrances to the park. one is the address you see off Jet rd, however this is ONLY for fields 9/10. if you are playing

based on the amount of rain the city has closed the fields for the remainder of the day. We will still be here for pass pickup and coaches check in. However we have to suspend skills comp for now. Coaches Check in and skills competition (LIVE DJ)  is at Preston hood fields 9/10 which is located at 132 Jet Dr NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548. this starts at 12pm and runs till 5pm. The park is CLOSED until then, please do not arrive early. it will be congested, and may take a little bit in line. please be patient, as we will have multiple tables set up for registration to move you along as quick as possible. There will be 3 tables set up for skills competition registration , please look for your table based on age group. Coaches (ONLY)  check in will be a separate table, and will be fully staffed with directors to get you your bands, swag for players, and answer any questions you may have. Dri Fits, USSSA sleeves, Shirts etc....  will be at the merch tent which will be separate from the others. Lastly Pre-order band pickups, and purchase of the weekly pass will also be a separate table and tent. Players can trade pins, mingle, and compete until they are done. Some divisions have odd numbers and there fore one team has 4 pool play games . Only the first 3 pool play games will factor into that teams bracket seeding. ALL pitching will count regardless. Additionally you may notice that some brackets have an if game for the championship round. Although it may show that game there is no if game for those championship games. The system would not allow standard global double elimination brackets for those size divisions so we built them with the if game but it will not be played. Any questions please ask.

Good Afternoon We are two weeks away from the SHOW!! We are in the process of releasing the schedule so you should see that shortly Dri Fit orders will close in less than 2 days. PLEASE if you want a DRI FIT , order online, as we will not have a bunch of shirt on hand.  We typically have less than 5-6 for each size , and they will be gone before skills competition is over. Good morning The link to the skills competition is not working this morning after a website update last evening. Our IT dept is working on it, and should have this fixed this morning. Good Afternoon a couple  things to cover with everyone  , including some much anticipated info with regards to the schedule!!!! First , We are happy to let everyone know we were just informed that the weekly gate pass button has been added to the tournament site. Once again here is the tournament site link. https://flbaseball.usssa.com/event/fort-walton-beach-world-series/ PLEASE NOTE, that there are several blue buttons on this page, and each has a bunch of info on it from itinerary, to skills comp sign up, and even Dri Fit pre order. If you have the app thats great BUT these buttons are not visible on the app.   we know thats a bummer and IT is working on it. we also get 4 questions alot. My child plays up, can he compete at his age for skills comp or does he have to compete at his teams age? all players compete at the age group of the team they are playing on for the event. will you have dri- fits for sale at the event? Yes, however we will have less than 10 in each size so that we do not have left over stock. Can my player try multiple times at any or all of the skills competitions? yes players can compete as many times as they like, however those chances must be purchased online before the link goes down on June 29th Last but not least, WHERE IS MY AGE GROUP PLAYING AT?? We know this is and has been the biggest question. We Also realize everyone wants to play on the turf fields. there is only 7 of them, and we literally would have to be a magician to make that happen. We will have a few limited sizes the week of, but no more than 10 per size, and they typically sell out in the first hour of the skills competition. Good afternoon We have added the link for the Blue Wahoos.Opening Ceremony tickets on the tournament page. here is the link in case you dont have the link to the tournament page. https://flbaseball.usssa.com/event/fort-walton-beach-world-series/ The Teams and 3 coaches per team will receive tickets for the game at opening ceremonies. All those who wish to attend the opening ceremonies and game following , will need a ticket to the game. USSSA Tickets purchased from the link  include a meal, and are General Admission. you will pick seats, but keep in mind everyone will be moving around to sit together with their teams and families. The only areas where you can guaranty seats is upgrading to a party deck or suite.  these options can also be accessed from the link, and just let them know you are with USSSA to get your discount. We will be posting more info today, and will continue leading up to the event.

FT WALTON BEACH WORLD SERIES Good Morning: We are suggesting for teams to pick the best accommodations for their team both price, and location from an enjoy your time standpoint. As soon as we sell out it will allow us based on teams in each age group to assign locations. In the mean time to get the best deal we suggest using the entire area between the parks. This allows you to select several areas, and still no matter what be 15 min from the parks either way. an example of the areas between the parks is Destin, Sandestin, Miramar Beach, and Santa Rosa Beach. Destin is closer to the FWB complex, and further from the others, and Santa Rosa Beach is close to the Helen McCall, South Walton, and Freeport Complexes, but further from FWB. The entire area is beautiful, and chances are you will explore one side to the other as there are so many things to do up and down the "strip" which literally extends the entire length. This strategy has allowed teams in the past to get the best deals for their teams because it opened a larger area to shop. we are here if you need us, so if you have questions please dont hesitate to reach out.
